Hell is not a place, hell is within

You lose your appetite. You lose your smile. The brain gets totally shut and you don’t feel alive.

All your senses stop working at once. The pain within is so huge that it makes you go numb for a while.

You terribly urge to sleep to get rid of the pain within, but the brain doesn’t let you sleep. The night passes away tossing and turning in bed. Nothing gets you to sleep, no matter how hard you try. One has to go through the feeling of hell if it is meant for you! You cannot escape it until it has squeezed the life out of you.

Hell is not a place, hell is within.

Lucky enough you are if you get to sleep for a while. That little amount of sleep prepares you for the next day’s fight.

And the worst part begins, the moment you open your eyes. The hellish feeling is all set to hit you back again.

Mornings in bed are not easy to handle at this point of time. You try your level best not to get trapped in those thoughts again, but before you realize the same, you already find yourself fighting with it all again.

You wish to let it out, but sometimes you can’t. You wish you could just shut down your brain for a while, but all your try goes in vain.

No matter how hard you try, the sinking feeling within refuses to leave you alone.

A series of uneasy thoughts followed by a constant headache does not let you live in peace for long.

It drains your energy, it makes you feel tired. Activities and the passion which used to interests you once, you lose interest in them all at once.

And then the question arises, what exactly was it that was keeping you happy all this while? Was it actually your passion, work, routine, place, or something else.

When the hell within is real, distractions don’t work!

When the pain within is real, therapies don’t seem to soothe you easily!

Suffering is hard but everything tends to get better with time.

Hell is not a place, hell is within.
